Terrance Hawke's "New Meat 8" doesn't quite feature the "International Steamy Sex" the box cover advertises. While Hawke claims to feature eight men from places as far afield as Israel and Czechoslovakia (never mind that that country technically doesn't exist anymore), they all seem to speak suspiciously good English, excepting maybe Asians Antoine Chow and Theodore Chu. This detracts somewhat from the air of alluring exoticism Hawke is trying to create, and the results aren't too impressive.

But maybe that's because some of the guys here are just plain ugly. We're talking non-standard porn models here, stretch marks, bags under the eyes, and pimples included. Believe me, I've had all three at one time or another, and this is nothing any of us need to see on camera, even if it is part of the kink. Only Kowalski, Francesco Salvador, and Amir Moreno are closer to what most of us want to see unclothed, and their scenes are the only ones worth watching. But their 20 minutes out of the entire 120-minute film is short shrift indeed. At least the scenes on the DVD are indexed; do yourself a favor, skip right to the good ones, and stay there!
