There is a definite shortage of big, buff, badass black men on the gayporn scene, who can talk trash and back it up with butt-busting action like nobody's business. With the arrival of Bobby Blake, hope literally sprung eternal that the dry spell was over, and he has somewhat filled in the void . The problem? Not enough movies from the big studios that showcase his unique talents and charisma to the max, the way it almost was in BIG GUNS 2.
I don't know maybe the best Bobby Blake movie has already been made and I just have to play catch up. And though he dominates every scene of Black Market he's in, I gotta tell ya, honey this flick ain't it.
The plot? Take any confrontation scene from any mainstream movie with an urban setting, where the head drug-dealer has to "represent" by making an example of the lowdown lackeys who double-crossed him. Where you would usually see people getting their brains blown out, now they're getting them fucked out. Edit out real bullets, insert cum bullets instead.
It starts off with J.C. Carter (who had a solo cameo in Catalina's excellent BLACK ATTACK 2) booking down the street like a bat out of hell, as he quickly tosses a bag he's carrying into some nearby bushes. How he got the bag is never revealed, but it becomes the focus of all the action that follows.
Bobby makes his entrance with a snitch who apparently knows about the bag and who has it, and decides to screw the information out of him. The guy doesn't look all that scared or unhappy to be servicing Bobby, (that would take some real acting ability), and they both fuck and suck energetically up to some medium cum shots. (For a movie with a plot built around money, it's the MONEY SHOTS that come up sorely lacking.)
We have to assume that the subject of the torture‚ session revealed all, because next we see Bobby and buddy Duke Johnson unloading a trussed-up J.C. Carter from the back of Bobby's SUV. More "torture" follows, including some interrogation with a knife that does make you sit up and take notice a bit, until our bone-thugs-n'-harmony‚ decide that the kind of nightsticks their subject needs to get beaten with are the big, black fleshy kind. Double-teaming Carter, Blake and Johnson fuck his mouth and ass to the hilt, until you begin to wonder if maybe he's not giving them the right answers because he doesn't want this to end. Neither will you, since it's the best sequence in the movie, but alas, like all good things, it must. At least it does contain the best money shot of the whole film, with Johnson unloading his nut with the force of a shotgun blast.
Meanwhile, the bag has been found by two b-boys who are probably associates of Carter. The remainder of the film shows how they decide to use the money to "hook up wit' some bitches" (in this case, the male variety), and how Bobby does eventually catch up with them, (or at least the more attractive of the pair) and get back his ducats, not to mention "gettin' his nut again" in the process.
I recommend this film for die hard fans of Bobby Blake only. Everyone else may want to look at his other films, (I've read and heard that BLACK CARGO is one of the best.)
