There aren't too many close-ups in this scene, although the climax will leave you begging for more, as Michael spurts high up on his own chest, and Grant dribbles a large load onto the bike seat.
In the final scene, Grant visits buddy Mitch. Having had a long trip, Grant strips and showers, and when he comes out, Mitch is ready to play. In the William Higgins' tradition, Dan Allman delivers a solid video of college guys having sex. While the situations may not have been the most realistic, he certainly captures the vitality with which young men have sex. No scene disappoints, although the final scene is certainly the climax in more ways than one. Costello Presley composed the score for this film (used by several other videos, most notably the shower scene in POWERTOOL 2) and it complements the sex perfectly. There is very little to criticize about this video. There are no oral cumshots as one might expect from an 80s film, but they were sparingly used, unfortunately, in Higgins' videos. Nonetheless, Spring Semester belongs in the video collection of any man into sex between young college guys.
