Besides his filmography and his well-known forays into publishing, not the least of which was his biography, the late Scott O'Hara will be remembered as a staunch advocate for the right to engage in public sex. Much could be said for Al Parker and Company as well, as Dangerous proves that the controversy surrounding glory hole get-togethers was around long before Scott, or most of us, even knew that men could have sex! If there were no other examples available, this film alone would be proof enough of Al's talent for selecting unique subject matter, and finding potential stars.
This is the film that launched the porn career of Mike Braun, and if you're going to have one bear in your movie, Mike proved right out of the gate that he was definitely All That. Here, he plays "Michael," a knockout stud who has an unquenchable thirst for tearoom sex, which he's well into when we first see him, trading blow jobs with Dixon Hardy. The two guys definitely enjoy the encounter, as you can tell from the prodigious cumshots. Good thing, too, since they're busted moments later.
Michael calls the only person he knows who will bail him out, his sometime-lover Phillip, played by Jim Rogers. Perplexed but understanding, Phillip questions Michael about his dangerous habit, which we learn has gotten him into trouble more than just once. When they get home, we also find out why Phillip is so understanding. Besides his hot looks, Michael tops and bottoms like nobody's business, launching a blistering backdoor assault that probably has Phillip grateful for heart- (and hard) felt apologies. Cumshot lovers may want to do an instant replay of Mike Braun's splattering load that brings this scene to its creamy climax.
At a loss trying to figure out how to deal with his lover's "hobby," Phillip stops in to chat with a buddy, bartender Rick Faulkner, who informs him that even though tearoom sex is dangerous, it's that very quality that "makes it so hot." Rick goes on to give him some examples of his own escapades, the first featuring bearded, suited hunk Steve Taylor, (remember I said he did some film work himself?) who gets a blistering stand-up fuck from Rick after priming the barkeep's pump. Afterwards, it doesn't seem like Rick can get enough, because the next thing you know, he's in a phone booth down the street, calling a number he found on the tearoom wall.
That call goes into Chris Burns, and if you don't know who he is by now, here's a quick intro, remember a Falcon film from not too far back, (also available in the RAD Video catalog) that featured one of the studio's notorious "extras" in the uncut, mail order version, when a guy actually sat on the better part of the top half of a traffic cone? Chris Burns could be called the godfather of anal capacity training, as he demonstrates by stuffing two rather large dildos up his hungry ass while phone-sexing with Faulkner, who himself is jerking off IN THE PHONE BOOTH, in broad daylight, (talk about Dangerous!)
With a recommendation to give it a try, Phillip thanks his buddy, then heads to the local tearoom himself, trying to discover why it is that Michael feels that the sex is worth getting arrested for. After watching a young stud suck himself dry, (a very hot scene), Phillip engages in his first tearoom encounter with none other than young blond cutie Jeff Stevens, (who could easily be there as his character from DOING IT, in which coincidentally Jim Rogers was a co-star.)
The initial sex only helps to sharpen his appetite, and after devouring several beautiful dicks, (a couple of them uncut and oh-so-suckable), Phillip suddenly gets bitten by the tearoom bug himself, and HARD. He then returns home to Michael, to tell him what he's found out.
All of this leads to an unexpected ending, which I WON'T give away here, (though it's not too tough to figure out). The great lensing team of Tom Howard and Greg Welles strikes again, and the acting from Braun and Rogers as a couple is surprisingly real and watchable. Braun would prove later in GOLD RUSH BOYS and several other films, that his sizzling debut was definitely no fluke. Al and his staff at Surge sure could pick 'em, which is all the more reason why you should add Dangerous to your library ASAP. (Note: This is the Bijou Video version of Jocks Video Pack #34 with the same scenes & same stars.)
