The Fall of 2008 and Winter of 2009 is a period in the history of gay men in San Francisco for the record books. The struggle for equal rights set against the background of gay marriage brought to light the personal and cultural discrimination we deal with on a daily basis. Retribution is a strong emotion, and one that encompasses fantasies and desires of resolution. It is from this milieu that Bareback Abduction 2 was conceived.

Protests and demonstrations against gay marriage were commonplace near City Hall throughout the fall, and what better source for an a person about to be abducted than the despicable 'God Hates Fags' crowd that literally demeans gay men's very existence. Chase Peters was too tempting a target for the SpunkMob, snatched off the street, blindfolded and dragged back to the Mob's South of Market warehouse where a waiting Jacob Slader planned a deflowering and religious conversion -– but in reverse to the standard born-again meme, putting the human back into the zealot's body, so to speak."
