Probably most gay boys who ever went to camp have fond memories of fireside stories, wiener roasts and their buddies' tent poles. Director Afton Nills aims to tap that sexy nostalgia in Camp Afton Nills Academy, a new line populated by many of the tasty twinks you may have seen in his Academy Tryouts series, which emphasizes hot schoolboy uniforms. Here, the best moments come mostly in the opening scene, which teams newer models Mike Styles and Johnny Roark. Cute-as-a-button Styles props his head on an arm as they talk shit in their tent and, in his sexy voice, claims that his cock is bigger than Roark's. The dicks come out for comparison, then for blowjobs. While Styles seems like top material, he concedes that Roark has the bigger rod and proceeds to straddle his tent mate. He rides Roark until he shoots on the top's chest; Roark then dumps a load on Styles. Next best is the solo performance by blond coverboy Blaze Corgan, a choice example of that oxymoron known as the muscular twink. Alone in his tent, Corgan peels off his camp T-shirt, leaving him in a hot, sporty pair of red shorts as he does some crunches, flexing his incredible six-pack abs. Eventually, the cock comes out, and he achieves a reasonable slow burn as he strokes himself.
If you've seen just about any Afton Nills title, the rest will be all too familiar. Cute as they may be, the Winter Vance-Turk Melrose pairing has worn out its welcome; let's at least see them do it with someone else for a change. The camp theme falls by the wayside here as the couple, in a bedroom, engages in a lot of dialogue, some toe- and tongue-sucking, some blowjobs, and a boring handjob. The remaining scene includes much of the cast (minus two of the strongest, Styles and Corgan) in a group suck-off. There's no reason for someone not to get fucked in this scene; make it a full-fledged orgy and this could become a must-see. Elsewhere, Nills has directed some of the better twink material I've seen in the last year or so, and that makes it even harder to consider this meandering assortment of scenes anything but disappointing.
